Features Common to All Sell Editions

The following features and enhancements are included in all editions of Sugar Sell 26.2:

Shipping Addresses
  • Multiple Shipping Addresses setting: Administrators can now enable support for multiple shipping addresses in Sugar to allow users to manage multiple shipping locations for accounts, supporting customers with multiple delivery destinations that share the same account in their ERP system.
  • New Shipping Addresses module: Users can now manage multiple shipping locations for Sugar accounts using the new Shipping Addresses module, if the feature is enabled by an administrator.
    • Account-level management: Each Sugar account may be related to multiple shipping address records, which can be created and managed via the Shipping Addresses module or subpanel (in the account record).
    • Quote-level selection: Users can use the Ship-To Address field to search and select a specific shipping address related to the quote's account.
Account Owners
  • New account owner fields: Administrators can now add custom owner fields (e.g., Outside Sales Rep, Customer Success Manager) to the Accounts module, allowing multiple users to manage the same account with the same privileges as the Assigned To user.
    • Consistent visibility and permissions: Any user assigned to an owner field is treated as a record owner across reports, role permissions, SugarBPM, and Action Buttons.
    • Filter accounts by owner field: The "My Accounts" and "Record Owner" filters in the list view recognize all owner fields, allowing users to find the accounts they are responsible for regardless of which owner field (e.g., Assigned To, Outside Sales Rep) they are assigned to.
    • Report on owner fields: Filter reports using owner fields, with an optional run-time filter that users can adjust to view records assigned to specific users.
Relationship Field Filters
  • Pre-filtered relationship fields: Administrators can now configure one-to-one and one-to-many relationship fields in Studio using the "Filter results by" option to automatically pre-filter the Search and Select page based on another field's value or custom field conditions.
      • Filter by relationship: Narrow Search and Select results to only show records related to the value (e.g., ABC Company) selected in the relationship field (e.g., Billing Account Name).
      • Filter by {Module Name} conditions: Further narrow results using specific field values and operators (e.g., State exactly matches CA) on the target module.
Color Palette Updates
  • Refreshed color palette: Sugar's user interface has a cleaner, more modern look with a refreshed color palette across the application.
    • Navigation bar and header: The navigation bar and header colors have been updated to match Sugar's new color palette.
    • New module colors: The module colors have been updated to match the new color palette in a softer hue, while preserving the module's underlying base color.
    • Updated elements: Elements such as buttons, tabs, tags, and links have been restyled to match the new color palette for a cleaner, more polished look throughout the user interface.
    • Refreshed charts and dropdowns: Charts and dropdown menus reflect the updated color scheme, keeping dashboards and reports visually consistent with the rest of the application.
Layouts and Navigation
  • Navigation bar reorganized: The out-of-the-box navigation bar has been reorganized into a simpler, workflow-oriented order.
    • Module order: The modules in the navigation bar are now prioritized following a typical workflow, starting with the Reports module.
    • Pinned modules: The out-of-the-box number of pinned modules is now five.
  • Redesigned default layouts for Leads, Accounts, and Contacts modules: The default layouts for the Leads, Accounts, and Contacts modules have been redesigned for a cleaner, more consistent out-of-the-box experience, with Record Views, List Views, Search filters, Focus Drawers, and dashboards now surfacing the most useful information first, giving users a faster, clearer path from opening a record to taking action.
    • New default List View dashboard: The out-of-the-box List View dashboards for Leads, Accounts, and Contacts now display the "My Favorite {Module Name}" and "My Recently Viewed {Module Name}" dashlets.
  • New action buttons: New action buttons are now available for the Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, and Leads modules, helping you take the actions you need with fewer clicks.
    • New Opportunity action button: A New Opportunity action button is now available for Accounts and Contacts, letting you quickly create an opportunity related to the current account or contact record.
    • Log Activity action button: A Log Activity action button is now available for Leads, Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities, letting you quickly log or schedule a call, schedule a meeting, and create a note or task.
Administration
  • Studio improvements: Several enhancements have been made to Admin > Studio, improving how administrators create fields and configure layouts and action buttons in Sugar.
    • Custom grouped address fields: Administrators can now create a single, unified address field using the new Address (Grouped) data type in Studio, which behaves and displays the same as the stock address fields (e.g., Billing Address) in Sugar.
    • Integration Sync ID field availability in layouts: The Integration Sync ID field is now available to add across all layouts in Studio such as List View, Record View Dashlet, Preview View, Popup View, Search, Subpanels, and Mobile layouts, making it easier for administrators to surface this information where necessary.
    • Action button improvements: Some enhancements have been made to Action Buttons in Studio.
      • Real-time visibility: Dependent action buttons now dynamically appear and hide in real time as the related field value changes during record edit.
      • Integration Sync ID support: The Integration Sync ID field is now available for use in action button formulas, allowing administrators to build integration-aware action button behavior.
      • Validate Record option improvements: The Validate Record option in the Action Buttons configuration drawer now dynamically appears when the action button contains either the "Assign Record" or "Update Record" (with Auto Save enabled) actions, as these action types save the record automatically.
  • New default for Lead Conversion Options: The out-of-the-box default for the Lead Conversion Options system setting is now "Move", so the lead's activities (e.g., calls, meetings) are moved to the contact record when the lead is converted.
  • Doc Merge template validation: When new or updated templates are uploaded, Sugar now automatically validates the templates before saving the file to detect errors early and prevent failed doc merges.

  • Last Interaction field: The new Last Interaction field is now available for Leads, Contacts, and Opportunities, letting you quickly see when a record last had a held call or meeting.
  • Last Opportunity Date field: The new Last Opportunity Date field is now available for Accounts, letting you easily see when an account's most recent related opportunity was created.
  • New Account field for Calls, Meetings, Notes, and Tasks: Calls, Meetings, Notes, and Tasks can now be related directly to an Account through the new Account field, providing a complete account-level activity history.
    • Enhanced lead conversion: When the Lead Conversion Options system setting is set to "Move", a converted lead's activities are moved to the new contact record, and the Account field is now automatically populated with the contact's account, so migrated activities appear in the full account activity view.
  • New default for Field Name Placement: The Field Name Placement option in the user settings now defaults to "Above Field Value" for users who have not already set it, so that the full field names display without being truncated.
  • Improvements to Business Center Name field: The Business Center Name field on cases now populates immediately based on the related account's business center (if one is set).

Fixed Issues

The following issues are resolved in this release. Expand the panel to view them.

Fixed Issues in Sugar 26.2.0

The following issues are resolved in this release:

  • 99703: When a product category in the Product Catalog dashlet had more product templates than the list view page limit, the Show More link did not appear, so users could not see the rest of the products. The Show More link now appears when more products are available.
  • 99603: Scheduled reports incorrectly triggered the Report Schedule Time Adjusted to DST notification and shifted the next run time by one hour on every run, even when no Daylight Saving Time change occurred. Report schedules now run at the specified local time in the Assigned to user's time zone, including across DST changes.
  • 99548: Custom calculated fields on quotes that used a rollup formula displayed 0 after the quote was first saved and did not update when quoted line items changed until the quote record was saved again or refreshed. These fields now show the correct value right after saving the quote, and update immediately when quoted line items change.
  • 99528: Internal application files were accessible over HTTP in certain circumstances. Web-server rules are now applied during installation and upgrade to prevent direct access to these files.
  • 99513: When linking existing records from a subpanel, the Search and Add drawer showed only the first page of records, and the pagination controls were unavailable. Users can now browse and select records on later pages as expected.
  • 99503: In Summation with Details reports grouped by Fiscal Quarter or Fiscal Year, clicking a chart segment opened a drill-down window that showed "No data available" instead of the matching records. The drill-down window now shows the records for the selected segment.
  • 99392: When quotes were merged, comment lines occupied a number in the merged output, which caused the line item numbers to skip a value after each comment. This issue has been resolved with a new {line_num} merge field that numbers line items correctly and skips comment lines.
  • 99384: When process definitions were triggered on new records, sensitive field values were incorrectly displayed in the user interface. This issue has been resolved, and these fields now save and display as expected.
  • 99378: When using an Action Button to copy a datetime value from a related record, the values were copied incorrectly. Datetime field values now copy accurately to the record.
  • 99346: When importing opportunities and mapping an existing Account ID to a custom relationship field, the system incorrectly created a duplicate account instead of linking to the existing record. The imported opportunity now correctly links to the existing account record.
  • 99329: SugarLive agents were showing as offline and experiencing connection issues due to multiple initialization problems with the integration. These issues have been resolved, and SugarLive now works as expected.
  • 99323: When mass updating leads, the status of converted leads was improperly editable. Now, the Status field for converted leads is no longer editable during mass update.
  • 99310: Users assigned a role with Admin & Developer access to Users/Teams/Roles were improperly restricted from importing users and saw an error. This issue has been fixed, and regular users with Admin & Developer access to the Users module can now import users.
  • 99300: The Refresh button in reports was incorrectly positioned on the left side of the page. This issue has been fixed, and the Refresh button now appears on the right side of the reports page.
  • 99290: When a custom datetime field with the same name existed on both Product Catalog and Quoted Line Items, adding a product via the Product Catalog Quick Picks dashlet caused the quote save to fail with an error. Products added via the Product Catalog Quick Picks dashlet now save to the quote as expected.
  • 99227: When the global termination criteria were applied to a process definition with multiple running instances, only one process instance was terminated. Now, all process instances matching the termination criteria are terminated as expected.
  • 99121: Exporting a report as a CSV file displayed a Success message but generated an empty file when the dataset was too large. Now, users see a meaningful error message explaining the issue and next steps if the export fails.
  • 99106: DateTime fields used in related() formulas were improperly rounded to the nearest 15-minute interval instead of displaying the actual value. This issue has been resolved, and datetime values now display accurately in the field.
  • 99099: When changing the primary contact on a case, the previous contact remained incorrectly marked as the primary contact in the database. Now, the previous contact relationship is properly removed when you change the primary contact.
  • 99069: When hard deleting emails via Data Archiver, the email recipient relationships were not removed as expected from the database. Now, all email recipient relationships are removed from the system when emails are hard deleted.
  • 99012: Copying a case record with an attachment improperly removed the attached file from the original case. This issue has been resolved, and copying a case record no longer removes the attached file from the original case.
  • 98958: When a SugarBPM process was set up to append a team to opportunity records, changing the account name on an opportunity improperly caused duplicate Account ID updated entries to appear in the Activity Stream. This issue has been fixed, and the Activity Stream only displays one Account ID updated entry as expected.
  • 98895: When viewing a project record that was linked to a recurring meeting, the subpanels in the project failed to load and a PHP Fatal error occurred. Now, the project's subpanels load as expected when viewing the record.
  • 98884: Only a subset of emails were imported to Sugar when the "Leave Messages On Server" was set to "No" in the inbound email account. This issue has been fixed, and all unread inbound emails are imported to Sugar as expected.
  • 98841: SAML authentication could incorrectly accept messages with invalid signatures. Signature validation has been corrected to reject these messages.
  • 98834: When the Status field's (e.g., meeting_status_dom) color was formatted via the Dropdown Editor for certain modules (e.g., Meetings, Knowledge Base), the updated color was not applied. Now, the formatted color changes are applied as expected.
  • 98813: For instances that are SugarIdentity-enabled, regular users were improperly allowed to update their first and last name by navigating to their user record via a focus drawer. Users can no longer update their names via focus drawers.
  • 98682: The About page incorrectly displayed the previous version number instead of the current version after upgrading. We have fixed this issue, and the About page now displays the correct version as expected.
  • 98666: When reports were exported, the CSV file displayed incorrect dates and times because the timestamp values were shifted by a timezone offset. The CSV files now show the correct date and time that match the values in the record.
  • 97709: The Sugar Market button did not appear in record views that used role-based layouts after upgrading to Sugar 25.1. This issue has been fixed, and the Sugar Market button now displays as expected on role-based layouts after upgrade.
  • 97654: Doc Merge templates did not correctly evaluate the "not equal" operator in conditional statements and failed with an error. Now, the "not equal" operator works correctly in Doc Merge templates.
  • 97133: When configuring a legacy workflow action to update the Business Center ID field, the "Set Business Center ID as" popup did not show an input field or record selector. The popup now displays the field so users can select a business center.
  • 96345: When using a Chinese IME to tag users in Comment Logs, the mention suggestion list did not appear, preventing user selection. Now, tagging users using Chinese IME works correctly.
  • 96318: Dependent, Required If, and Read-Only If formulas that referenced related parent modules did not function on quotes/quoted line items and opportunity/revenue line item creation pages. These formulas now evaluate correctly when referencing parent modules.
  • 96019: When using the Action button to compose an email, any edits made to the "To" recipients list were disregarded and the email was sent to the original recipients instead. Now, emails are sent to the modified recipient list.
  • 95351: When changes were made to the Role-Based View layout in Studio, the updates were not reflected for users assigned to the role until a Quick Repair and Rebuild was performed. The Role-Based View layout changes now display immediately for assigned users.
  • 95141: When embedding reports in scheduled emails, the dropdown fields incorrectly displayed their item names instead of their display labels. This issue has been fixed, and the embedded reports now display the dropdown field labels correctly.
  • 95120: When using Process Definitions to change opportunity fields (e.g., Sales Stage) in instances using Revenue Line Items, the field values did not get updated as expected even though the changes saved successfully. The opportunity fields are now updated correctly via the Process Definition's Change Field action.
  • 94758: The Forgot Password feature failed to send the Forgot Password email for usernames longer than 36 characters. This issue has been fixed, and the Forgot Password email now sends correctly for usernames up to 60 characters.
  • 93307: When a regular user without access to a business center triggered a process definition with a business rule that calculated datetime values using business hours, the process completed but the field was not updated, and an "Invalid Business Center bean" error was logged. Business rules that use business centers now evaluate correctly, regardless of the triggering user’s access to the business center.
  • 93156: In the Opportunities tile view, Show Column Total added up currency amounts at face value across different currencies, and currency filters matched only records in the entered currency. Column totals and currency filters now use converted base-currency values, so the results are accurate across currencies.
  • 92537: When current exchange rates changed when creating a quote, the quote's grand total became inaccurate as the base rate values between the quote and quoted line items got out of sync. Quote and quoted line item base rates now remain aligned throughout the quote lifecycle.
  • 89996: Attempting to download plugins on the User Profile page did not work as expected and displayed an error page. Now, the plugin download links work correctly.
  • 89299: When Forecasts were configured to name the fiscal year by its ending year, the Create Future TimePeriods scheduler job named new time periods by the beginning year instead, which created duplicate year and quarter names. The scheduler job now follows the configured fiscal year naming convention.
  • 88987: After a successful import of targets, the Created Records tab on the import summary page was blank. The import summary now lists the created records as expected.
  • 85556: Copying a process definition cleared the selected email templates from Send Message events in the copy, with no warning. Copied process definitions now keep their email template selections.
  • 81145: Scrolling through the search results in a relate field’s quick search could occasionally cause a 500 error. This issue has been fixed, and scrolling through the quick search results no longer causes an error.
